The Conclusion of Genesis - Bereishit
Dedication

This first book of five, of the Five Books of Moses, Chumash Candescence, has been seven years in the making. Its long awaited serialization on the Web has finally arrived, with the other four books, G!D willing, to follow.

Chumash Candescence is the first full compendium to the Torah studying in detail each Parasha, with references to the Talmud, Midrash, and other Rabbinic sources, from post-Talmudic times to the present, from a Jewish Renewal, Spiritual and Modern point of view.

It is part of a greater Text that will be soon published in book form, with profits going to Temples' Social Action and Adult Jewish Education Committees, ''On the Attainment of Jewish Spirituality.''

This first of five books is dedicated to the men and women, of Temple Oseh Shalom, (Maker of Peace), of Bluffton, SC, USA, who fearlessly, against all odds, ex nihilo, created a Synagogue, celebrating its second year, now with 400 members.

Spearheading this love of G!D and Judaism were Lay Leader and Bal Tephelia R. Wiener, Presidents S. Goad and A. Krulik and their boards, committee members, and countless volunteers, many from the Shalom Club of Sun City, Bluffton, SC, and the Towns of Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and Beaufort, SC. Via this Temple, came Bluffton's first regular Torah class, chaired by S. Davidson.

Mishna Pirkei Avot : 5: 23: states that Rabbi Judah ben Teima used to say: Be strong as the leopard, swift as the eagle, fleet as the gazelle, and brave as the lion to do the will of your Father in Heaven. He also used to say: The impudent are for Gehenna and the affable for Paradise. He used to pray : May it be thy will, O Lord our G-d and G-d of our fathers, that the Temple be rebuilt speedily in our days, and grant our portion in your Torah.

This first of five books is dedicated to those that established Bluffton's first Temple. May G!D bless you and keep you and may we all be strengthened. Amen!
