RABBI ARTHUR SEGAL :CHAZAK! CHAZAK! VENITCHAZEIK! BE STRONG! BE STRONG! AND MAY WE BE STRENGTHENED!

The Conclusion of Deuteronomy - Devarim
Dedication

This fifth book of five, of the Five Books of Moses, Chumash Candescence, has been seven years in the making. Its long awaited serialization on the Web has finally arrived, with the other one book, G!D willing, to follow.

Chumash Candescence is the first full compendium to the Torah studying in detail each Parasha, with references to the Talmud, Midrash, and other Rabbinic sources, from post-Talmudic times to the present, from a Jewish Renewal, Spiritual and Modern point of view.

It is part of a greater Text that will be soon published in book form, with profits going to Temples' Social Action and Adult Jewish Education Committees, ''On the Attainment of Jewish Spirituality.''

This fifth of five books is dedicated to all of my teachers, too numerous to mention them all...the professors and rabbis at the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, at Gratz College, Philadelphia, at Hebrew College, Boston, at Skirball Religious Institute,at the Center for Spiritual Humanism, at the Academies for Jewish Spirituality and Renewal, the many on-line classes I took, e.g Aish Ha Torah, and URJ and so many others, to Rabbis Abrams. Levy, Wolkoff, Belzer, Waskow, Slatus, Shulman, Edelstien, Milgram,Dean Zorger and countless others. How can one ever thank our sages: Moshe Rabbanu, and for those rabbis who were martyred for our faith? And of course to G!D, without Who I am nothing, and with Who I am here only to teach and help others, as the Mishna asks, love peace, pursue peace, and bring people closer to Torah, G!D and, G!D willing, to each other. Shalom, v'Ahavah, v'brachoth. RABBI ARTHUR SEGAL
