The Handbook to Jewish Spiritual Renewal has been an incredible life changing book for me.  I was lost with many questions, problems and needs and was filled with despair as well as anxiety and depression. I simply could not find the answers to the many vexing questions that plagued me.  I was able to find these answers and much more through following page by page chapter by chapter the steps to Jewish Spiritual Renewal.  I am a better person, husband, father, friend, employee and Human being  because I now live life the way it is supposed to be lived filled with Simcha and Shlema.  I highly recommend reading and following this books instructions right now so you do not waste another minute of your life without meaning.

 

Incidentally in addition to this if anyone can benefit from my story or anything, come to think of it, that I have to offer in this world be sure to let me know.  Thanks a trillion. (since Obama I now refer to things in larger numbers lol)

Day 33  Sephirat HaOmer  along the Tree of Life

Hod, my vessel containing
my essence, my energy, my expression
revealed as I play passionate percussion
in gratitude for the glory of G*d.
 
Bells ringing, singing in abunDance
in harmony hear
and respond
to my inner vessel of joy.

Joy is my Hod, in the Etz Chayyim
in the Tree of Life.

I dance
soar my soul,
sing, shout my song,
as I serve
the Divine Giver of Life.
 
My outer garments covering me,
strong deep royal colors, velvet
flowing pomegranate crimson
and splendor of purple painted silks,
sunrise and sunset,
color tones of the Temple.

Hod, receiving and
giving over my loving-kindness
to share sensations,
and my appreciation
for the Light
of the Eternal One.

Surrendering
as if floating,
held in soft waters,
I am in Oneness.

Feeling,
touching molecules
of space all around me,
I stretch my body,
my limbs
as high and wide and full
as my imagination can reach,
my voice as clear
as my channel can be,
my drumming
smoothly connected
to The Source of All BlesSings.

Blessed, I am drummed,
and feel fullness of embrace,
melding into the Waters of Life

My expansiveness
becomes One
with all present.
We receive each other,
reverberate vibrations
of praise to the Compassionate One,
an ecstatic meditation.

With timbrel in hand,
we have walked
through G*d's miraculous parted seas
to our freedom.
 
We can pray
and give gratitude
for all we can be,
to transcend
beyond ourselves.

Hod brings me
to my radiant community,
playful place
of music for Majesty.

angels are heard

I am available for Shabbatons, and can speak on various aspects of Jewish history, (from the ancient past to modern day, and can be area specific, if a group wishes), Spirituality, developing a Personal Relationship with God, on the Jews of India and other 'exotic' communities, and on Talmud, Torah and other great texts. We have visited these exotic Jewish communities first hand. I adhere to the Mishna's edict of not using the Torah as a ''spade'', and do not ask for honorariums for my services. I am post-denominational and renewal and spiritually centered.

 I am available to perform Jewish weddings,  and other life cycle events, ONLY IF, it is  a destination wedding and the local full time pulpit rabbi is unavailable, or if there is no local full time pulpit rabbi,  or it is in my local area and all of the full time pulpit rabbis are unavailable.

 My post-doc in Psych from Penn helps tremendously when I do Rabbinic counseling. My phone number and address will be made available once I am sure of one's sincerity in working with me.
