MOURNER'S KADDISH
Let our thoughts turn to those who have departed from this earth, their souls bound up with the souls of our ancestors. They are our own loved ones, those who our friends and neighbors have lost, the martyrs of our people whose graves are not marked, and those of every race and nation whose lives have been a blessing to humanity. As we now say the kaddish, we meditate on the meaning of love and loss, of life and death.
