Please welcome Avi aka Avivit Keter

 ELLEN became a bird-mom (emah l'tsiporah) again today with the arrival of our new Lilac Crowned Amazon. He is named in Hebrew, Avivit Keter, literally Lilac Crown, but Ellen is already calling him Avi. He is darling.
Blessed art You, Lord our G!D, King of the universe, Who has such beauty in His world.
Thanks again to those of you who expressed  condolences to us when Tookee our parrot of 11 years passed in mid-December.
 
If we have not already wished you a happy new year, may 2008 be  a year where we are all blessed with a peace from Providence surpassing all understanding.
